To access the i2b2@UNC, you will first need to complete the i2b2 Training provided by NC TraCS: Link to training

This training takes approximately an hour to complete and can be completed at your own pace.

The training materials consist of lessons, a quiz, and an evaluation.

Accessing i2b2@UNC requires an on-campus internet connection or a campus VPN connection.

Basic steps on how to use a VPN:

1. Start by downloading the VPN software for Windows.
2. Run the setup.exe file.
3. At the module selection for install, make sure only the following modules are checked: “Core & VPN” and “Start Before Login”.
4. Diagnostic and Reporting Tool is an optional install, but is recommended.
